Juan Riveros
Hello! My name is Juan Riveros. I am currently finishing my studies in Music Education at Texas State University. I've been teaching percussion for the last 4 years in the form of both teching and teaching private lessons, currently at James Bowie HS. I have experience in both open and world class, starting out as the tenor section leader at the Guardians DBC, then moving on to playing tenors for Rhythmic force Independent and recently aging out in with Vigilantes Indoor Percussion. I was also fortunate to learn from educators such as Travis Boren, John Maynard, Hayden Gish and Ryan Pride
I am passionate about pedagogy and teaching at all skill levels and I take my job very seriously. Our lessons will be tailored to YOUR short and long term goals as a percussionist with advice on mindset and what maintaining high standards looks like in a balanced lifestyle.
